The First Stone Oven
Marco Rossi opens Marcos Pizzeria on Bald Eagle Dr with a single wood-fired stone oven, four tables, and a family recipe passed down three generations. The line forms on opening weekend and never really stops.
Expanding the marcos Menu
After winning "Best Pizza on Marco Island" for the third consecutive year, we expanded our menu to include calzones, pasta, and antipasti — honoring the full range of authentic Italian cuisine.
Online Ordering Launched
Marcos launches its first online ordering platform, making it easier for guests to enjoy authentic marco pizza at home. Delivery coverage grows to serve all of Marco Island and nearby communities.
Full Renovation & Expansion
The restaurant undergoes a complete renovation, doubling seating capacity to 120 and adding a dedicated catering kitchen. The new space reflects the elegant, warm atmosphere Marcos is known for today.

With 20+ years of experience and a grandmother's recipe in his heart, Marco created Marcos to share authentic Italian pizza craft with Marco Island.
Trained in Naples and Rome, Sofia brings classical Italian culinary technique to every dish — from our house pasta to our signature desserts.
James ensures every order — dine-in, delivery, or catering — meets the Marcos standard. His meticulous eye for detail keeps the kitchen running flawlessly.
Elena leads our front-of-house team with warmth and precision, ensuring every guest feels like a valued part of the Marcos family from the moment they arrive.
